Generation Z is stepping into the workforce in a big way, and HR leaders everywhere are trying to separate fact from fiction. What do Gen Z employees really value? What expectations are changing? And what’s staying the same?
This interactive, student-hosted session brings together JMU faculty, Gen Z voices, and HR professionals to explore what the research actually says about Gen Z at work. We’ll unpack common myths, compare generational perspectives, and talk through practical, real-world strategies for attracting, engaging, and retaining early-career talent, while also discussing what Gen Z can learn from established workplace norms.
