Cathleen P. Welsh

Cathleen P. Welsh has concentrated her practice in employment law for more than thirty years. She assists clients in navigating complex workplace issues including employee misconduct investigations, leave of absence and accommodation management, immigration and I-9 compliance, exempt and nonexempt classification, wage and hour procedures, and employee discipline and termination.

Cathy has advised organizations of all sizes—from small businesses to large employers in healthcare, manufacturing, and hospitality—as well as governmental employers and federal contractors with additional compliance obligations.

Known for providing practical and cost-effective solutions, Cathy helps organizations determine the level of risk management that best fits their needs. She is actively involved in human resource and business organizations and is frequently invited to speak to professional and community groups on employment law topics.
